DENTAL TREATMENT CAMP: Madhepura

One day Dental Treatment Camp: Madhepura A one day mini dental treatment camp was conducted in Madhepura led by Dr Vijay Sah. We treated the most needed patients who were waiting for a long time for the treatment. Dr Vijay checked some 50 patients and treated 15 patients. Due to insufficient materials, we managed to do extractions of some patients and referred some patients to higher centers for the further treatment.  Dr Vijay is doing extraction Dr Vijay is counselling the patient During screening, We found 90% people affected with the dental problems. The Dental Center is must needed in the particular area, that will benefit some 5000 people. We are looking for the helping organizations.

FLOOD RELIEF MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION: Mahottari, Nepal

Day 2: Flood Relief Materials Distribution Due to heavy rain from July 12, 2019 in Nepal, many regions of Nepal were affected by heavy flood and landslides. The people in Mahottari were affected more and thousands of people got displaced from their houses. They were looking for food and shelter, the most basic emergency need. Indu Sah Foundation recognized the need by observing the affected area and our team chose the most underprivileged people and we distributed the necessary relief materials by the help of other organizations. The distribution program was on July 30, 2019 and Indu Sah Foundation helped the underprivileged flood victims of Leuri, Mahottari, Janakpur with the materials they needed the most. That includes food packets, clothings, tents, mosquito nets, soaps. We distributed total of 354 families in two days. On day two, we distributed materials to 160 families if Leuri 10, Mahottari. There are people still waiting for help but due to insufficient funds

NEPAL FLOOD 2019: A Report

Due to heavy rainfall since July 12, Friday, Death toll from floods and landslides triggered has reached 43 until 9 PM on Saturday , according to the latest bulletin published by Nepal Police. Twenty four people have gone missing, 20 have been injured and 1104 people have been rescued across the country. The Kids are Stuck in the way. 5 people died each in Lalitpur and Bhojpur districts, 4 in Makwanpur, three people each in Kathmandu, Khotang, Okhaldhunga and Kavre districts, two people each in Dhading, Jhapa and Sinduli, and one person each in Palpa, Parsa, Ramechhap, Illam, Sunsari, Bara, Rauthat, Siraha, Dhanusha, Chitwan and Dolpa. Out of 43 people who lost their lives, 18 are women and 25 are men. Four people in Makwanpur, 3 in Dhankuta two each in Kavre, Bhojpur, Sunsari and Sindhuli and one person each in Khotang, Dhading, Chitwan, Dolakha and Ramechhap have been injured. Dental Treatment Camp: A Report Location: Phulakharka ( Extreme Remote Village), Ganga Jamuna, Dhading, Nepal Human Resources: Dr. Vijay K Sah (Team Lead), Dr. Nilotpal Sharma, Ram Kumar Baraili Date: June 5, 2019 to June 6, 2019                                                                                                                                                   Despite of heavy rain and difficult roads, Indu Sah Foundation, in collaboration with the Ganga Jamuna Municipality and Dhading Dental Clinic, conducted a two day Dental Treatment Camp in Phulkharka, Ganga Jamuna, Dhading, Nepal. The camp was highly successful. The underprivileged community and the underprivileged children got a superior level of dental care in two days. Around 150 people got the dental treatment and dental counselling. Dr. Vijay during extraction of a tooth. The People participated for the dental treatment were of the age group 5 years to 80 years.
